about

an aleatoric meandering through the deep that utilizes concrete, sampling, and collage traditions as rudders to steer the ear and mind into the familiar unknown.

"According to legend, there’s a jukebox somewhere off the coast of Oregon that escaped out of the side of the ocean liner after the lumbering ship brushed up against some hardened sediment. The jukebox apparently fell unscathed to the bottom of the coast and sits there to this day, intermittently playing 45s through the deep waters. There have been numerous accounts of beachcombers, surfers, sunbathers, and various other sunscreened individuals reporting its faint, washed ashore music, and with every recorded account, there is one fact which never differs from from the teller: the music did not come from a nearby radio, nor from a passing jet ski or boat: it came from somewhere inside the actual ocean. There have been many attempt by outside parties and research teams alike to try and locate where exactly this mysterious music is coming from. So far, they have all come up empty handed. Only the legend seems to offer any sort of answer. One such individual who has gone on countless excursions in search of the jukebox is IFSH. And thankfully, the sound artist and sonic sculptor was smart enough to record the majority of his outings."
